The coffee
For this particular yellow-honey micro lot, only 600kg was produced! Red ripe cherries were pulped and placed on raised beds with full mucilage, and then set to dry in three stages. The result of this process, in tandem with a holistic approach to coffee sustainability, is a higher level of perceived sweetness and intensity of flavour. Expect notes like millionaires shortbread, orange and kiwi. let us know how you are brewing and what you are tasting @saintespresso

The producer
For years, Uganda has been an untapped origin for coffee, with very little specialty grade coffee reaching the market. But everything changed in 2017 with Kenneth Barigye- a man who had a vision to change the world’s perception of Ugandan coffee. Kenneth understood the potential of the region, and decided to establish the Mountain Harvest project, attracting international and local talent to focus on implementing standards to improve and showcase how great Ugandan coffee can be. To achieve this, Mountain Harvest project built Sironko Station, a research station located at the base of Mt Elgon, and this is where the coffee you are about to enjoy is from.
